Buy Blue Meanies Mushrooms
Buy Blue Meanies Mushrooms are very widespread; they grow globally in tropical and temperate environments. Panaeolus cyanescens is a tropical/subtropical grass species that is often found in droppings – as is another well-known fungus we know. If you weren’t aware of the Blue Meanies, you could easily miss the patch in search of the more popular ones. The former is believed to contain two to three times the psilocybin found in cubensis. Panaeolus cyanescens comes from the genus Panaeolus. Mushrooms belonging to this widespread genus are generally small, have black spores, and often grow on dung. However, not all Panaeolus contain psilocybin – a fact we will return to later in this article. The genus Panaeolus contains thirteen species that produce psilocybin, including Panaeolus cyanescens and Panaeolus cinctulus. Panaeolus mushrooms are called “mottled” because of the irregular spots or colored spots on the gills. However, there is something else worth noting about this particular species: Panaeolus cyanescens is a mushroom with many names. In fact, there are so many that knowing what to call that particular species can be confusing. Let’s start with the basics, the name “Panaeolus” means “all variegated” in Greek, which describes the speckled structure of the mushroom. The species name, cyanescens, is derived from the word “cyaneus” meaning blue, after the color the flesh acquires when bruised.
In the field, Panaeolus cyanescens is light gray or almost white when mature. Hats are pale brown when young, then fade to off-white or light gray. Sometimes they have yellowish or brownish tones. The pileus are approximately 0.5 to 2 centimeters in diameter, first hemispherical, then widening to campanulate or convex. The edge of the cap is curved when young. Hats are slightly hygrophanous, they lose their color as they dry, and cracks often appear in dry weather.
The gills have a broad abutment attached to the appendage. To clarify these terms, adnate attachment means that the gills are mostly attached to the stem, adnexed means only slightly. The gills of Panaeolus cyanescens are close, black or gray and have a mottled, mottled or cloudy appearance caused by the spores maturing together in small patches on the surface of the gills. Different spots darken at different times and cause a mottled appearance. As the spores mature, the gills turn black. All species except Panaeolus foenisecii have a jet black spore print.
The stem (stalk) is usually seven to 12 centimeters long and two to three millimeters thick. The width is equal to the length and slightly increased at the base. The stem is colored like a cap and covered with a fine white powder. Mushrooms have a floury (flourish) smell and taste. As with other mushrooms containing psilocybin, when the mushrooms are damaged, bruises are greenish or blue. This coloration is often seen on the cap or stem of Blue Meanies mushrooms.
